Hello Joe:

For my birthday this year, I'm asking for donations for our state affiliate 
through a Face book fundraiser. Would you consider sending this link to our 
NFBNJ distribution list?  I hope they will consider contributing as a way to 
celebrate with me. Every little bit will help me reach my goal of raising 
$1,000 for the state affiliate in a two week period. My goal is to raise 
funds so we can continue to spread the philosophy that the National 
Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the characteristic that 
defines you or your future. Every day we raise the expectations of blind 
people because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and 
our dreams. You can live the life you want; blindness does not hold us back. 
Together with love, hope and determination, we transform dreams into 
reality.
