You???re invited??? The National Federation of the Blind of New Jersey Sports
and Recreation Division invites all to participate in our ???Asbury Park
Boardwalk Day??? located at the Asbury Park Convention Hall, 1300 Ocean
Avenue, Asbury Park New Jersey set for *Saturday, July 27th from 11 am to 4
pm;* advanced registration is required. It will be fun to just spend time
getting to know each other and getting some exercise along the oceanfront.

Activities will include walking the boardwalk, having lunch along the way
then enjoying an ice cream before returning together to the Access Link
pick-up spot. Each participant is responsible for their own expenses,
including transportation and food.

Participants requiring individual or one on one assistance are required to
bring their own aid or SSP who must be 18 years or older; aids or SSP???s
will not be counted as a participant. There will be an option on the
registration form indicating assistance provided by you and their name for
our records. There will also be an option on the registration form for your
family or friends to join in; registered participants are responsible for
their invited minors.

Again, walking is involved so wear comfortable clothes and shoes, bring
water and snacks and be prepared to get your 7,500 steps in ??? that
translates to approximately 3 miles. Access Link participants should
allocate enough time for an 11 am arrival by estimating your pick up to be
at the end of your window, additional drop offs or pickups along the way
and Jersey Shore traffic.

Participants arriving after 11 am will be required to meet up with the
group independently and anyone leaving earlier than 4 pm will also be
required to meet their vehicle independently.

When: Saturday, July 27th
Time: 11 am to 4 pm
Where: Asbury Park Convention Hall, 1300 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park 07712
If traveling by Access Link, the cross street is Fifth  Avenue
What to bring: whatever will make you comfortable such as drinking water, a
hat, sunscreen, a snack, etc.

There
will be a maximum of 10 participants. When the first 10 registrations have
been received, we???ll start a waiting list.

If you have registered but should need to cancel, please immediately
contact coordinator Linda Melendez at 732-421-7063 or
lindamelendez220 at gmail.com so someone on the waiting list can take your
place.
