The Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired invites you to call-in
to their May 2021 Commission Connection Conference Call on *Wednesday, May
19, 2021 *from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.  * May is Mental Health Awareness
Month and this month’s panelists will share information on: *

   - Adjustment to vision loss from the mental health perspective
   - Dispelling the stigma of needing and/or seeking professional mental
   health services
   - Peer support groups and call centers and the efforts of each to
   address apprehensions and isolation during the pandemic
   - The services and programs available through the NJ Division of Mental
   Health and Addiction Services, and
   - The NJ COVID-19 Disability Action Committee and their efforts to
   illuminate the issues and concerns of people with disabilities during the
   pandemic
