[Trainer-talk] GPS apps

Ariadne GPS costs about $6 from the ITunes Store. It is the best ap I know
for giving you information as you walk around.

MotionX GPS Drive has a walking component, but this component isn't good
with VoiceOver. However, GPS Drive's driving component works well with
VoiceOver. If you want to get directions for someone who is driving, you
can consider it. At the time my students purchased it, there was a sale
where you could get a year's subscription to its maps for $10.

Thanks for the info on Navigon which just saved me $50! So I have Around me
and Cendero LookAround on my iPhone; are there other apps that both are
useful GPS tools AND accessible with VoiceOver?

Also, in a separate thought, I just acquired an iPad and want to sun all 16
apps from my iPhone to the iPad. Some of the apps were free and some were
purchased throughiTunes. How can I sunc the apps to the iPad so I will have
identical apps on both devices?

Thanks, Wise Ones!
