Anita,
You might check out Podcasts and materials from AppleVis.com ... Also a 
Apple Magic Pad might give you a similar gesture ability as you'd find 
on your iDevice. Just a thought. I'm not a VO expert on macs but I think 
ultimately I'd find it easier based on what I've read, to teach students 
how to use it than JAWS. I especially find the rotar on Safari a easy 
concept to grasp.

By the way, as a trainer. There's nothing more important you can be 
learning than how to do research. I'd say that skill set will be much 
more valuable too you than learning any particular system backwards and 
forwards.
