Hi all,
I’m going to train a student who is new to jaws and had used windows computers a little as a sighted person. I plan to explain and teach the navigation of the desktop and how to open files and then go over how to read the screen with jaws in the first few lessons. Are there resources for beginning jaws you can suggest? I am considering purchasing the NBP book about windows 7. I’m hoping to have demos of jaws for her to hear as a review rather than just notes I write up. So, webinars or videos on jaws would be good; like youtube videos for instance. Also, if you have ideas for free texts about computer concepts or websites explaining them, that would be good. There are not many free textbooks out there, but sometimes I can find free etexts online for other subjects, so thought I’d ask.
Thanks.
Ashley
