Hi Jack and happy Thursday.

I have done some work with ZoomText and Dragon so please feel free to
contact me off list if you would like to discuss in more detail, but here
are some answers to your first question:

Press to talk:

https://certifiedesupport.com/blog/5-ways-turn-dragon-microphone/

They have a section on how you can set up press to talk depending on what
microphone you have.

As for typing being echoed, I have not been able to do this with ZoomText.
We ended up upgrading the client to Fusion with JSay scripts at which point
we got all the verbosity we wanted.

Again, please feel free to contact me off list if you have other questions.

Kind regards, Nik.

Subject: [Trainer-Talk] ZoomText and Dragon

I am working with a client who uses ZoomText and is trying to get started
again with Dragon. We are running into a few issues which I am hoping
someone has already dealt with before.

1) When using the keyboard command to turn the microphone on and off, is
there a way to get zoomtext to announce the microphone state?
2) related to the first question, is there a way to set up a "push to talk"
keyboard command? My student regularly forgets that he still has Dragon
awake and listening and then ends up typing something that he didn't mean
to.
3) Is there a way to get ZoomText to automatically read out the text that is
recognized by Dragon? Since it's not actually typing anything, the typing
echo doesn't work, and we haven't found a way to get it to automatically
read the text when it is typed. This would also help to let him know when
he has accidentally dictated additional text.

Thanks!
