[Txabs] NFB-NEWSLINE open house and meet-and-greet in Laredo May 8

Everyone,

We will be hosting an NFB-NEWSLINE open house and meet-and-greet in Laredo on May 8, shortly after our METAS collaboration in McAllen. Attached are both English and Spanish invitations, please share with anyone who would benefit!

WHAT: NFB-NEWSLINE OPEN HOUSE
WHEN: May 8, 2018 from 1 until 3 P.M.

Join members of the National Federation of the Blind of Texas as we introduce blind and print disabled Laredo area residents to our audio newspaper service. You don’t need to be a technology whiz to enjoy access to over 400 publications, including: the Corpus Christi Caller Times, San Antonio Express-News , La Opinion, and a dozen more Texas newspapers and magazines. Come learn how you can subscribe to and enjoy this free service. We will sign you up on-site, and everyone who subscribes during this event will have a chance to win a $100 cash prize.
Members of the National Federation of the Blind of Texas will also be available in the La Union Conference Hall for a meet-and-greet after the open house from 3 until 5 P.M. for anyone interested in learning more about our organization.
