The Senior Action Group Energy (SAGE combined with our Members at Large
group ) of New Mexico meets the second Wednesday of every month at 7 p. m.
Mountain time via Zoom. All are welcome
Come join us on Wednesday, May 11,  2022 to learn about who Greg Trapp was
and what he has become. Below you will find a little bit about him.
 
Greg Trapp has been the Executive Director of the New Mexico Commission for
the Blind since 1999. Prior to joining the Commission, he was a Senior Staff
Attorney for Disability Rights New Mexico, where he had worked since 1992.
Mr. Trapp worked as an Equal Opportunity Specialist at the University of New
Mexico from 1991 to 1992. He also taught Disability Law as an adjunct
professor at the UNM School of Law in the fall of 1993. Mr. Trapp graduated
with honors from the UNM School of Law in 1990, and he is a licensed
attorney. He is currently a member of the State Workforce Development Board
and secretary of the New Mexico Council for Purchasing from Persons with
Disabilities. Mr. Trapp served as President of the National Council of State
Agencies for the Blind (NCSAB) in 2007, and currently serves on the NCSAB
Executive Committee. Mr. Trapp is also the Historian and board member of the
Navy League of the United States, New Mexico Council. In addition, he is
also a co-author of a book about the state's namesake battleship, "USS New
Mexico BB-40," Arcadia Publishing, November 20, 2017.
