Good morning!

I wanted to reach out regarding a current job opportunity that we have available here at the Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI).

We are interested in connecting with individuals who may be excited to start their career in the vision rehabilitation field !

To give you an idea of who we are, CABVI is a non-for-profit comprehensive vision rehabilitation agency located in Utica, NY.  We serve individuals who are blind or visually impaired, from newborns to the elderly, generally free of charge.  We have grown significantly over the last several years and expect continued growth.  This growth enables us to provide more services and employment opportunities to individuals who are blind or visually impaired.  Our mission is to assist people who are blind or visually impaired to achieve their highest levels of independence.

We are looking for responsible candidates who have experience assisting children and adults who are blind or visually impaired to achieve their highest levels of function to be able to perform daily living tasks. This is an exciting time to join CABVI's family, as we are growing our Vision Health and Wellness Center! We are a leader in the vision rehabilitation industry with state-of-the-art technology.

 CABVI (the Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired) is currently accepting applications for :
VRT's, O&M, TVI's, Assistive Technology Trainer & COTAs!
